Don't be confused: There are two campgrounds with the name Pecan Park. Our new neighbors have an RV park called Pecan Park Campground. If you are looking for a full-fledged RV park with full hookups, paved pads, and an indoor swimming pool, you need to visit their site or give them a call: 512-396-0070.

Reservations:

Our campground is primarily for youth groups and church groups, however we do allow families and individuals to camp here if they understand our rules and can abide by them. See below.

Reservations are required. There is a minimum fee of $20.00 per night per site for reserved sites. A deposit of $20.00 per site (the first night's minimum fee) is required to reserve each campsite. This deposit is applied to the camping fee when you arrive and pay your fees. Full rain checks of deposits are always allowed if there is flooding on the river or dangerous conditions in San Marcos. For other cancellations, we issue rain checks for the full amount of the deposit if we have at least two weeks notice of cancellation. For cancellations with less than two weeks notice, we issue rain checks for one half of the value of the deposit. Rain checks may be used any time during that calendar year.

(If you are unable to use your raincheck and would like to have a refund, a 10% cancellation fee will be charged)

We do allow individuals and families to reserve campsites. In these cases we require that those individuals submit their request for a reservation in writing (e-mail or letter) letting us know that they understand our rules and agree to abide by them. Camping priviledges are granted at our discretion.

Please call Tom or Paula at 512-392-6171 to make a reservation for your group. Be sure to let us know that you've been to our web site and have read and understand our rules.

Rules:

The person making a reservation is responsible for letting every member of the group know about our rules and cancellation policy.

  • We discourage campers from bringing any dogs with them, and we do not allow large or aggressive dogs. If someone must bring a small, well-behaved dog, it must be on a leash and never left unattended.

All other lights, radios and TV's must be turned off by midnight. All talking, laughter, barking dogs and other noises must cease completely so that your neighboring campers may sleep.
